How We Teach
At Feydey Online Academy, we have divided our teaching into three parts: LMS (learning management system), Webinars, and PBL (Project-based Learning). This gives us the opportunity to give students the experience and knowledge that is required to succeed in the 21st century.
The LMS allows us to keep track of student progress by providing us with detailed information about their learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses. The webinars give students the chance to interact with one another in real-time; this helps them develop social skills as well as communication skills. Finally, Project-Based Learning is a hands-on approach where students work together on projects that require problem-solving skills and creativity.
By offering all three methods of learning, we are able to provide our students with a more rounded education that will prepare them for life after school.
LMS
Our online platform gives us the opportunity to provide students with the required school material and tools to receive comprehended knowledge on their own terms. Giving our students the opportunity to study at their own pace, and the freedom to choose the topics they find interesting, are the main goals of our school.
Feydey LMS was created to provide students with a customizable learning experience. We believe that each student has different learning styles, and it is our job as educators to help them overcome any obstacles that could prevent them from achieving success.
By providing our students with the opportunity to learn at their own pace, we are helping them find a way to become self-sufficient learners who can succeed in both school and life after graduation.
Webinars
Feydey webinars provide a unique opportunity for students to interact with one another in real-time. This not only allows them to develop social skills but also communication skills.
The webinars are conducted by faculty members who have expertise in the subject matter. They answer questions from students and discuss topics related to their interests.
At Feydey, we believe that our students should have every opportunity to succeed academically and socially—which is why we offer a series of daily webinars that give students the chance to interact with one another in real-time. This helps them develop social skills as well as communication skills, which are essential for success at Feydey and beyond!
PBL
In a PBL classroom, students are given a problem to solve and are tasked with coming up with their own solutions in order to accomplish the project's goals. When working on a project, students have to think about what resources they need, how to get those resources, and how to use them effectively. This allows them to develop valuable critical thinking skills as well as learn how to collaborate with others in order to succeed.
The most important aspect of PBL is that it encourages students' natural curiosity by allowing them to explore their interests through real-world problems or situations rather than focusing on memorizing facts or formulas that may not be relevant later on in life.
